Seasons est une oeuvre née de l’appel à projet lancé par Art Explora et It’s Now, imaginée pour le milieu hospitalier. Elle propose une parenthèse de contemplation et d’évasion, un souffle poétique dans un quotidien parfois chargé de tension.
Cette installation numérique se compose de quatre tableaux génératifs, chacun évoquant une saison. Ces créations abstraites ne sont jamais figées : elles évoluent en temps réel, influencées par des données météorologiques telles que la température, le vent, l’ensoleillement ou encore le rythme du jour et de la nuit. Ainsi, la nature dialogue avec le numérique, transformant l’oeuvre au fil des heures, dans un mouvement perpétuel et imprévisible.
Chaque saison a été finement interprétée graphiquement, traduisant en langage visuel les caractéristiques propres à son atmosphère. C’est une lecture sensible du monde, une abstraction poétique du vivant.
Seasons invite à une contemplation intuitive, à la lisière de l’imaginaire. Les formes en mouvement éveillent chez le spectateur une expérience de paréidolie — ce phénomène fascinant par lequel notre cerveau projette des figures familières dans des formes floues ou aléatoires. Un rappel subtil de notre instinct, qui cherche à reconnaître, à comprendre, à anticiper.
Dans cet univers en transformation constante, le chaos naturel devient oeuvre, et l’imprévisible se fait beauté.

Mais Seasons est aussi une oeuvre interactive, une invitation à entrer en résonance avec l’image. Grâce à la technologie Kinect, le spectateur ne reste plus simple observateur : il devient acteur de l’oeuvre. Par ses mouvements, il peut interagir avec la composition numérique, provoquant des ondulations, des métamorphoses visuelles, comme s’il effleurait une toile vivante. Cette illusion de toucher la peinture crée un lien intime et sensoriel, offrant une expérience à la fois poétique et apaisante — particulièrement précieuse dans un contexte hospitalier.
C’est le logiciel TouchDesigner qui rend cette magie possible. Véritable moteur créatif de l’installation, il permet de tisser en temps réel les liens entre le corps du spectateur et l’oeuvre, mais aussi entre la nature extérieure et le tableau numérique. En intégrant les données météorologiques en direct — température, vent, lumière, heure du jour — TouchDesigner transforme ces informations en une matière visuelle fluide et organique, faisant de Seasons une oeuvre en perpétuelle évolution, à la frontière entre le réel et l’imaginaire.
Cette installation sera diffusée dans plusieurs hopitaux en france ( Hôpital Necker à Paris, Hôpital Femme Mere Enfant à Lyon) mais aussi à l ‘étranger comme à Londres.

Seasons is a work born from the call for projects launched by Art Explora and It’s Now, designed for the hospital environment. It offers a moment of contemplation and escape, a poetic breath of fresh air in a sometimes tense daily life.
This digital installation consists of four generative paintings, each evoking a season. These abstract creations are never static: they evolve in real time, influenced by meteorological data such as temperature, wind, sunshine, and the rhythm of day and night. Thus, nature interacts with digital technology, transforming the work over time, in a perpetual and unpredictable movement.
Each season has been finely interpreted graphically, translating the specific characteristics of its atmosphere into visual language. It is a sensitive reading of the world, a poetic abstraction of the living.
Seasons invites intuitive contemplation, on the edge of the imagination. The moving forms awaken in the viewer an experience of pareidolia—the fascinating phenomenon by which our brain projects familiar figures into blurred or random forms. A subtle reminder of our instinct, which seeks to recognize, understand, and anticipate.

In this constantly transforming universe, natural chaos becomes artwork, and the unpredictable becomes beauty.

But Seasons is also an interactive work, an invitation to resonate with the image. Thanks to Kinect technology, the viewer no longer remains a mere observer: they become actors in the work. Through their movements, they can interact with the digital composition, creating ripples and visual metamorphoses, as if touching a living canvas. This illusion of touching the painting creates an intimate and sensory connection, offering an experience that is both poetic and soothing—particularly valuable in a hospital setting.

It is the TouchDesigner software that makes this magic possible. A true creative engine of the installation, it allows for the creation of real-time connections between the viewer’s body and the work, as well as between the natural world and the digital canvas. By integrating live weather data—temperature, wind, light, time of day—TouchDesigner transforms this information into a fluid and organic visual material, making Seasons a work in perpetual evolution, straddling the line between reality and imagination.
This installation will be shown in several hospitals in France (Necker Hospital in Paris, Femme Mere Enfant Hospital in Lyon) as well as abroad, such as in London.
