Mountain Fragility

Mountain Fragility est une oeuvre vidéo expérimentale qui explore la matérialité du glitch comme langage visuel. À travers une série de compositions générées à partir d’erreurs numériques, l’artiste interroge les tensions entre architecture, chaos et abstraction.
La montagne, figure symbolique de stabilité et d’élévation, devient ici un territoire instable, traversé par des perturbations visuelles évoquant à la fois des ruines numériques et des paysages mentaux. Le glitch, loin d’être un simple accident technique, devient un outil créatif, une force visuelle capable de générer forme, rythme et émotion.
Portée par la bande sonore de Hadji Hajj (Քնքշություն Լեռան, « Fragilité de la montagne »), l’oeuvre propose une immersion sensorielle dans un monde où l’erreur devient esthétique, où l’effondrement génère une nouvelle géographie de la perception.
Produit en 2015 par Wemotion, Mountain Fragility a été nominé pour le Prix Ars Electronica (catégorie Animation) et présenté dans plusieurs festivals internationaux, dont le Mirage Festival à Lyon et l’Athens Digital Arts Festival.

Mountain Fragility is an experimental video work that explores the materiality of the glitch as a visual language. Through a series of compositions generated from digital errors, the artist questions the tensions between architecture, chaos, and abstraction.
The mountain, a symbolic figure of stability and elevation, here becomes an unstable territory, traversed by visual disturbances that evoke both digital ruins and mental landscapes. The glitch, far from being a simple technical accident, becomes a creative tool, a visual force capable of generating form, rhythm, and emotion. Driven by the soundtrack of Hadji Hajj (Քնքշություն Լեռան, « Fragility of the Mountain »), the work offers a sensory immersion in a world where error becomes aesthetic, where collapse generates a new geography of
perception.
Produced in 2015 by Wemotion, Mountain Fragility was nominated for the Prix Ars Electronica (Animation category) and presented at several international festivals, including the Mirage Festival in Lyon and the Athens Digital Arts Festival.
